My accounting career began at Three Rivers Community College when, eager to apply the classroom to real life, I volunteered as the bookkeeper for a local small business. I went on to Post University where I continued to find ways to work with small businesses in accounting and tax. After graduating in 2014 I took the four CPA exams and went on to the University of Hartford for my Masters in Accounting & Tax. At the same time, I began working in a large, regional accounting firm. But my heart remained with the small business community and in January 2016 I returned to Norwich to join Ed. Now I have the opportunity to work closely with small businesses, assisting them with bookkeeping, completing various business filings, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and assisting with tax planning and projections.

Even more important than doing what you love is doing it with great people. The team here is like a family and we have a lot of fun together, in the office and out. In my spare time I also enjoy volunteering in the community and working with students, hiking and spending time with family and friends, flower gardening, and crocheting.
